Business Analysis & Leadership (Presented by: Georgena Ifill, VP of Professional Development and Training)
Meeting Description:
Please join the Central Indiana IIBA Chapter for the final series of Business Analysis 21st Century Evolution: Leadership on Tuesday, November 13.
It has been stated that the strongest gauge of an outstanding business analysis practitioner is leadership. This meeting will focus on a review and meaningful, engaging dialogue about the book “Business Analysis & Leadership Influencing Change.” Business Analysis & Leadership aims to give you practical advice and ideas on how to be a successful change leader at four levels: yourself, your project, your organization and beyond. Some of the topics we’ll be covering in detail are:
- facilitative leadership
- working with Project Managers
- dealing with difficult stakeholders
- the iterative business analyst
- systems thinking
- strategic thinking
- power and politics
- ethics, professionalization & best practices
- communication and negotiation
In reviewing this book, Kathleen Barrett, former President and CEO, International Institute for Business Analysis said, “This book draws together a diverse set of sources to help a BA gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a change leader from any perspective.”
If you are involved in business analysis and influencing change, this meeting will provide you with valuable resources for accomplishing that goal!
