Cyber Casualties and the Cost of Virtual Warfare

If there is anything positive to be derived from today’s cybersecurity incidents, it is that through analysis we can learn to better protect ourselves. In our February chapter meeting where Doug Rapp will help us to understanding dissecting successful cyber-attacks, determining the toll on the economy, businesses and people, and deriving lessons on how to protect ourselves in an era of virtual warfare. From nation states, criminals, hacktivists, lone wolves, and insider threats, learn that the “who” and “why” are as critically important as the “how” while looking through the lens of risk. Learn techniques to assess businesses and determine how prepared they are to confront cybersecurity risks and explore resources available to protect their most valuable assets.

Doug Rapp is President of the Cyber Leadership Alliance (CLA) where he synchronizes and promotes collaboration and innovation within the cyber community by providing a convening organization. The CLA takes a strategic approach to cyber by drawing upon the individual strengths of our partners from all aspects of the field and facilitating initiatives that are demanded within the industry.
